| | | | It is now the end of March 2000, and Spring is definitely "in the air" and on the hillsides. |
| |
| | | | I love this time of year. It is one of my two favorite times (the other being Autumn). I love the cool and clear weather, the green hillsides, the fragrances of the flowers, and being able to lie out in the sun. |
|
 | | | The most common flower during early springtime is the Popcorn Flower. It is called this because the flowers look like popcorn at the ends of the long stalks. The hillsides at this time of year are simply covered with them. Their fragrance is so calming and subtle, despite the
profusion of the flowers. |
| |
| | | | Besides the Popcorn Flower, there are also Blue Bells, Fiddlenecks, Mustard and others. Later in the Spring, other
flowers take over. |
