| | | | Ever since T.J. left to his new home over 2 1/2 years ago, I have been wanting another horse. My friend Teri has been on the lookout for me, and she called Thursday afternoon to let me know she had found a horse for me. I went to meet Lady on Thursday afternoon, and then we took our first ride Friday morning. |

 | | | By Friday afternoon, she came to live here with me and Tawny and KC. We have all fallen in love with this 20 year old Tennessee Walker mare, and I am sure we will have many
wonderful times together. |

 | | | I received Lady for free. Of course,
it costs quite a bit to even receive a free horse: saddle and tack to buy, as well as feed and other items. But as my friend Mitch often says, "Dreams do come true." I have been waiting for 2 1/2 years for a horse, and here she is! God does answer prayer. |

 | | | August 2003 Note: After Lady had been here for a year, I found that I could not afford to keep her. I took very good care of her, but it cost me more than I had figured. When the hay ran out, I let a friend take ownership of her. She is very pleased with her new home, where she is well taken care of and even has a stable mate, a gelding, whom she very much likes. *wink* |
