In October of 1999,
my friend Corey helped me establish a garden.

These photos show part of that process.

The first step, of course, is to dig.
We removed all the dirt so that we could place chicken wire under the garden to keep all the critters out.  This was the hardest part of the effort, and it took about three hours.

After the dirt was out of the way,
we could lay the wire down.
This was the easy part!

After mixing the soil with some natural additives, we began on the fence.
We had to hook the bottom wire with the fencing to insure the critters could not get inside the garden to devour the produce.

And finally,
the finished product.
I planted vegetables on October 19 and 20.

If you have any tips for growing vegetables, I would love to hear them.  Please email me.

As the produce begins to grow and bloom, I may add more pictures.  Please feel free to stop by again, to see how things are going.
