Tawny is a pound puppy, an Australian Shepherd mix.  I got her in November 2000 while I was still recovering from surgery that I had.  She is an extremely smart pup, and she amazes me with the love she gives to me.

KC (Kitty Cat) has always been a rather small cat, but I still love him.  I got him from a neighbor.  KC's favorite place to relax is in my lap, and anytime I sit down anywhere, he will come up and make himself at home.

Tawny and KC are best of friends.  It surprises me that a dog and a cat can get along so well that they even eat out of the same dish at the same time.

Lady is the newest member of our little family here.  She is a 20 year old Tennessee Walker and is 16.2 hands (5'6" tall at the shoulders)..  Learn more about Lady and my previous horse, T.J., by clicking on the button to the left which says, "Horse".

I also have some chickens here.  I raised them from chicks, and they are at least tolerant of my presence.  The red ones are Rhode Island Reds.  The black/white ones are Barred Rocks.  And the grayish (ugly) ones at lower left are Guinea Hens.  They all lay eggs, though the eggs are still a bit small.
