The next morning, Ingo joined Johnny and me as we drove south into Italy to tour through the Castle Reifenstein.

Reifenstein is supposed to be the best-preserved original medieval castle interior in all of Europe.  It is not one of the "pretty" castles so well known elsewhere on the continent.  But we were really looking for something realistic.
