During the heavy rains of this spring, the water in the middle pond ran over the top of its dam, causing erosion.  Though the dam did not burst, it sure did come close, as you can see in the photos.  Fortunately, the rains stopped while there was still about two feet of dam holding back the waters.  The property owners sent in a crew to repair the dam
