I played in my first slots tournament, and I placed fifth, winning a hundred dollars.  The entry was free, from a coupon.  I played some blackjack, and with the help of match plays, I profited over fifty dollars after several hours.

I attended my first hypnotist show during this trip.  It was interesting, but it seemed rather faked to me.  As he was preparing his volunteers, he told them that it would feel no different than if they were simply sitting there with their eyes closed.  He said they had total control of whether or not they did what he told them to.

Most of the volunteers were very bad actors, and you could tell they were making up what they were doing in order to obey, that they weren't really visualizing what they were supposed to be doing.  I was rather disappointed with this show, even though it was free.
