At most conventions there are free seminars. I try to attend as many of these as I think might pertain to my business or interests. The more exciting part of the conventions, though, are usually the exhibit halls. It is here that
I can see the new stuff up close. The CES (Computer Electronics Show) is the largest convention that I have attended. It takes up all three exhibit halls at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
I always enjoy attending conventions for a few reasons. First, it gives me a change of pace. I get to get away from work for a few days and do something different. It is like
a vacation, I suppose. Second, I enjoy seeing what new technology and "toys" there are. And of course, I do enjoy visiting Las Vegas. I don't gamble much, but I enjoy seeing the lights. I even enjoy making the six hour drive through the desert.
