It is always fun to spend time with the Swallow family.  And Easter is an annual tradition in my life that I truly enjoy.  They make the day special and fun.  This year Kittina made the baskets and filled them with the goodies.

Joann always works long and hard creating the food, and it is always so good.  I eat too much every time.

My favorite is the candied yams.  This year, we added so much butter and brown sugar that they were the gooiest and best tasting.  We laughed long and hard during the preparation of these.

Another annual tradition with the Swallow's is airplanes.  I never have figured out how this tradition started, but I sure enjoy it.  Every year, we "kids" get an airplane of some sort, and we usually fly them all over the house and outside, until they die from crashing too much.

After dinner this year, the family sorted through old family photos.  Ricki (in the red) is marrying Jay (working that day), and she wanted some photos for a surprise.  It was fun reliving some memories with them and seeing others I missed.
