Tim and I went kayaking Saturday, and I enjoyed it so much that we went again Sunday.  The second day was actually nicer, since the wind was less.  On Saturday, the wind was actually pushing us upstream faster than the river pushed us downstream.  It was a constant battle to get down the six miles of the river, but it sure was fun.
 

Saturday night we also went to the Santa Rosa Fair and Rodeo.  That was nice.  It was the most enjoyable rodeo I have attended.  I think it was because the temperature was so cool, being at night and outdoors.  After an hour watching the cowboys, we walked the midway of the fair awhile, and we even went into one Fun House.

This is Tim on his horse.  Flash seems like such a pleasant horse, and I enjoyed meeting him.

Sunday after kayaking, we drove to the coast (about twenty minutes away) to watch the solar eclipse as the sun set over the ocean.  It was a very pleasant way to end the day.
