| Yes, after a decade and a half, I decided it was time to move on. I still miss Toby and have wonderful memories of her, but I have found a new love. My new love's name is Tenaya, but I call her "Tawny". She has a wonderful mixture of red and blond hair which shines beautifully in the sunshine. She has a great personality, but like me, she can be stubborn at times. When it
comes to a war of the wills, however, I usually win (not always), simply because I am bigger. She and I enjoy taking walks together or going for a ride in the car. I enjoy simply sitting with her and watching the wildlife or the wind blowing, but Tawny usually gets bored rather quickly and wants to play around. So, I tell her, "Go get your ball," and she will hunt for it and bring it back again and again until she is totally worn out. |
