My friend Shane and I attended the Chocolate Festival in Oakdale.  I am a HUGE chocolate lover, and I was very much looking forward to sampling the treats.  Unfortunately, there really wasn't much chocolate to be found, other than in the store.

The Festival turned out to be more like a crafts fair, in which there were many booths with artisans selling their wares.  It was interesting to see what they had, but there wasn't much that we had not seen elsewhere.

At one point, there were some "Chocolate Games" for the kids, and that was enjoyable.  Most of them were designed to see how much chocolate the kids can get on themselves.  The kids enjoyed the games and the goo, as well as the prizes if they won.  The adults enjoyed watching the kids becoming chocolate covered.
