We prepared a dinner of honey-baked ham and yams. I had never done a dinner like this myself, and it was quite an experience. I found I truly enjoyed being in a real kitchen again. The food itself was exquisite, the best yams and the best ham I have ever had. We also made a pumpkin pie. It
did not seem to work the way it was supposed to, and it looked rather roughed up when it was done, but it sure did taste good as part of the Y2K celebration. |
