After driving across the Golden Gate Bridge and through San Francisco, we approached Half Moon Bay from the north. As we approached the coast, the sun was setting, and we stopped for a few pictures.
The next day we walked along the beach. The wind was gusting,
causing the waves to froth more than usual. During the strongest gusts, sand was picked up and driven against our bodies. That was an amazing sensation.
As I collected pieces of smooth stone and shells, Corey began his own collection of garbage that others had left. His concern for the environment amazes and inspires me.
As we were leaving, we saw some kids making a sand castle. I thought that the next time I get to the beach, I want to do what they were doing.
