| The next morning dawned dark and grey.
It
had rained off and on during the night and there had been rumblings of distant thunder.
The rain had let up by morning, but it was really only the "calm before the storm".
Shortly after dawn, the wind started blowing in very cold.
I opened the tent but stayed in bed as I prepared and ate breakfast.
